Getting Started Review the following list to learn how you can prepare yourself for the PantherSoft System.
Currently, Panthersoft requires Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows-based computers, and Internet Explorer 5.2 or Safari on Macintosh systems. You can get the Windows version by clicking here. PantherSoft training assumes a basic comfort level with navigating through the Internet and using Windows; therefore, users must have certain basic PC and Internet skills. To view a schedule of those courses and get more information on how to sign up, click here. Do you need to use PantherSoft? Remember that there are two different Systems within PantherSoft that you might need access to: Student-Campus Solutions and Financials. Student-Campus Solutions: If you need to access academic information, such as a student’s bio demographic or financial aid information, then most likely you will need access to PantherSoft’s Student-Campus Solutions system. Financials: If you will initiate requisitions, approve requisitions, have a Pro-Card or will be in any way responsible for any accounts in your department, you will need access to the Financials system. If you need your Panther ID, you can access it online by click here. Who Can I contact for Support? f you are having any problems with the system, you can contact the UTS Support Center via the On-line Service Request system or by calling (305) 348-2284. For academic questions (i.e. entering grades, grade roster, etc.) contact your department head. For technical questions, send an e-mail to psoffice@fiu.edu. For questions relating to Financials training, send an e-mail to psfin@fiu.edu. You can also view the Support FAQ online. |
