Financials Upgrade
FIU will be upgrading all modules on the Financial system, including:

  • General Ledger / Commitment Control
  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchasing
  • Asset Management
  • Travel & Expenses
In addition, the financial modules listed above will be implemented for the FIU Foundation.

New features will allow for utilization of enhanced functionality and reduction of numerous customizations that are currently in version 8.4. For specific details by module please see the features for financials.

Grants Implementation
FIU will be implementing the PeopleSoft 9.0 Financial Grants Suite for the Office of Sponsored Research and Administration. This implementation will include the following modules:

  • Grants
  • Contracts
  • Project Costing
  • Billing and Receivable
In addition, many manual processes and reconciliations that are currently in place will be systemized and fully integrated with the PantherSoft Financials Suite. For specific details by module please see the features for grants.
